I took these three TC,s out for a check and wipe down. I think they were the best mass produced small caplock rifles made. top is a Cherokee-.32, middle is a Seneca-.36, and the bottom is a Seneca-45. I don,t shoot them much(mild loads with patched round ball) and realy take care in cleaning them afterwards. if they had made them in flintlock I would have bought 10 of them. if I find a well used one I may try to turn it into a flintlock. eastbank.

I have a Seneca in .36.
I fired it for the first time this past summer after owning it for years. Really cool little rifle.

Nice rifles. I miss having T/C in the traditional muzzleloader market. I realize they aren't authentic, but growing up in the 1970s and 80s they pretty much defined what a smokepole should look like.

I have a later production LH Renegade in .50 caliber, which I haven't shot enough.

Those are very nice rifles. I have a T/C Hawken in .45cal. I am curious what the smallest charge is for the .32?

I had the seneca 45 years ago. Great little rifle. Wished I still had it. Always wanted a renegade 54. I hunt with an older traditions 54 sidelock with a Montecarlo stock and lyman adjustable sights. Deer don't go far when touched with a 425 gran hollow point over 120 grains of pyrodex. Speaking of lyman, always liked there plains rifle.
Nice collection you have there.

20-25 grs fff and a 311-312 rb with a tight patch is a ex small game load. I have the tc rb and maxi ball molds for them. I have to get my monester big boar .58 killer out to wipe down along with my two deer hunting flint locks that I will use in out late(dec-26th) flint lock season. eastbank.
