If you shot a handgun once a week.

About a month for me as well. I thinned the herd last year upon realizing I hadn't shot half of my guns in over 3 years.

Starting on New Years Day, I'd finish around Thanksgiving Day. Throw in long guns, and it would take me until the following Easter or so.

However, it's rare that 52 weeks go by without me acquiring another, so this might be a much-longer endeavor.

I shoot the gun I carry and my HD gun the most, ie every week.

Sometimes some others get thrown in the mix but they are just range toys for the most part.

I was at a year a long time ago, probably close to 3 years now. Now it’s more like do I really need another.....

Sometimes I just buy ammo instead. Plus there’s safe space to consider.

Are you asking about just full size, medium, compact, concealed carry or micro Pistols?

Semi-autos, Revolvers and single shots?

What about hand guns that shoot 410 or 20 gage?

Does this include like AR pistols, SiG P552, P553 & P556 pistols?

What about AK pistols in 223, 7.62x39 & 308 and pistols like the HK91P or the HK52P(7.62x39) HK53P(223) & MP5, MP5K and MP5SD 9mm pistols?

Or do you mean just all pistols in general?

In that case about 2 years ... Maybe longer, I'm too lazy to go count and that's all I can think of off hand o_O

Reading problem, huh? Well, shooting the handguns I currently own, if I shot my first one at the start of the new moon and shoot one additional one every new moon thereafter but could shoot as many as I wanted that had already been shot upon a new moon it would take me 472 days until I'd shot all of the ones that I currently own, by which time I'd need an additional 88.5 days to shoot the new ones I'd have acquired during the prior 472 days assuming I keep acquiring at the same rate that I've acquired handguns in the 472 days prior to today.
