IMR4350 availability in todays market

I've been playing with N540 lately because that's what was available.

I'm just about out of IMR4064, I've been trying to find a pound or 8 of N140 to see if I can substitute. PV has IMR4064 priced at $430, but 8# of N140 is just shy of $300... that got my attention. Now if I can just find it...

I was eyeballing a good deal on n165 for the 6.5x55 at midway 309. I waited to long 😪

Until the IMR line gets back in touch with reality, I've added them to the anything Aliant NO SALE list personally. When my supply of IMR4064 and 4350 are depleted, I'm looking for alternatives. I've already switched out IMR 4064 for AA4064.

How is that working out?
Very well. Shot my first 200 on the SR-2 a few days ago in my 03A3. Came close with the M1, but that one always leaks a couple of 9s, probably needs a new barrel. I just did a direct substitution of my IMR Garand load of 46 grains, but a different bullet. Tried the Speer 168 so long as I was proving loads, and it grouped better than my previous Hornady 168/IMR load, so I made the switch. Garand doesn't seem to care which bullet.

I was lucky... I picked up my last 8# of IMR4227 for the 'old' price of $277 at Scheels last year.

I was anticipating an expansion of 6.5CM loading, so I dropped nearly $400 for 8# of H4350 a few months ago... it is what it is, for whatever reason.
My #8 of IMR 4227 was $430 canadian.
