The 22LR is an inherently accurate cartridge so as long as you buy decent ammo and have a good grasp on the fundementals of riflecraft you don't need to sink an arm and a leg into an accurate 22.
Not to start a caliber debate, but if the .22Lr is "inherently accurate," then the .17HMR blows it out of the water in regards to intrinsic accuracy potential.
With that, my vote is for either the CZ 452 (my next purchase) or a Savage Mark II LV/BV (renamed the BV) both will shoot <dimze sized groups at 50 yards, depending on the shooter. Straightly out of the box with Remington Gold Bullet I shot dozens of quarter sized groups at 55 yards, and then dropped 'em down to dime size when I grabbed some CCI Standard Velocity and CCI Mini Mags.
