Anyone have any info on a Palmetto Armory AR-15. It's marked BH-15A1, Serail# 14xx. I haven't heared of one of these guns before. Any info would be great. Thanks
Palmetto Armory is a long out of business "manufacturer", whose receivers were actually manufactured by Olympic Arms out of billet aluminum, and were asembled with various assundry parts and mostly Olympic Arms barrels.
You will probably find out alot more at ://www.ar15.com
Hello,
you can check out the link above from Oly .
ive been lucky enough to have 2 Palmetto's , both have been in the
3's on the ser# both have been A1 20 inch pencil barrels models .
do you want to sell it ?? if you drop me aline .
if not i would tell you to Keep it for ever , both was real good shooters and i always liked them they have a different appeal compared to the newer model of AR's .
I resurrected this thread because I have a line on one of these rifles. My old boss called me up to ask me about it but I have no idea. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm told it's in 90% condition. Can anyone give me an estimate on what it's worth? He basically got it in trade for some work and needs to know how much he should ask for it.
I hope this helps, but a national guards captain named Donald Griffin have been selling a excellent pocket sized edition of AR booklets under the business title of palmetto armory. PM me if you want his e-mail and he might be able to help you.
the rifle should go between 550.00 on the low to 800.00 on the high side .
if the rifle is really 90 % i would sure like to see some pics of the rifle as if it's 90% then it's been a safe queen most of it's life as every Palmetto Armory i have seen 6 total has been used , my last one was a trade in from a PD .
My father has one with out the "gas chamber". We had a sherrif run the serial numbers & nothing came back on it. What would this mean & could this possibly be "pre-ban" (I know I know I hate that term too).
I have a Palmetto Armory AR15 with the model# BH.15A1 and the serial is1699. Can anyone tell me the value of this gun? I also have a Redfield scope and I'm not sure about the value of this either...
