I have a Browning Hi-Power Mark lll which both my wife and enjoy shooting. It enjoys 100% functioning but has a one annoying problem. The trigger is slow to reset in rapid fire and my speed is dependent on the speed of my trigger reset. I called the fine folks a Wolff Gunsprings and it was recommended I purchase a trigger spring(5.00) for an older model BHP which will act as a high power trigger return spring. Ordered one over the phone and had my gunsmith install it. What a difference now, I now have an excellent trigger pull and return. BTW, the mag safety device accidently fell out and lost upon assembly. Guess I'll have to buy a new one...LOL! Just passing this info along to anyone with a BHP that is dissatisfied with their current trigger's slow reset. :)

The other field expedient is to simply bend on leg of the existing spring down to increase its preload.

Many BHP's out there (mine also before I sold it) had their magazine safeties removed. I've got one in a bag somewhere, I'm sure. PM me if you're interested.

Bernie: Thank you for your suggestion. I was advised of that by my gunsmith prior to him installing my new Wolff spring, but since I carry my BHP frequently I wanted to have 100% freedom of mind regarding functioning. Bending a spring is asking a spring to break...especially a spring with approx. 2000 rounds fired with it.
Badger: Thanks for the offer, but I do have the parts, just being a little sarcastic in my post.
Again gentlemen, thank you both for your comments. :)
