Interesting .410 load

My BPI slug loading manual recently arrived in the mail and at the very back, they have some .410 000 buck loads listed.

One load is a two pellet load with an MV up to 2150 f/s. Seems like at close, in-home ranges such a load would have some defensive applications for the recoil sensitive.

That would essentially be a 38 spcl "double tap" ... and ya, it's gonna leave a mark!

I like the federal offering for pd/hd applications.

But as long as the pellets land on target the job will get done.

Respect the humble .410 because as they say "Dynamite does come in small packages"
