Due to a snow day and the wife's non-availability, my son's field trip to a local farm has been re-scheduled to Monday and I am going to be one of the parent chaperones.
I do have a CCW permit and most always carry when out and about. However, I have to drive to his school, meet up with the trip, then follow them in my car to the location.
Obviously I should not carry to the school. Probably not even try to hide it in the car. But should I try to duck back home on the way and get my revolver? Or should I just acknowledge that this is a school activity and pack other, less obvious (and less effective) means of defense? Has anyone else been in such a quandry?
Not to turn anyone off but I would prefer practical responses, not political discussions of why the state is evil to deny me this right.
Thanks.
