IO Inc. AK-47 ?

Anyone has any experience with these ?
Design and price seem attractive to me, but what about quality?
I am thinking between one of these or Zastava (Yugo) N-PAP.
Help me with advice, friends .
Please try to stick with mainly these two brands, I know there is more out there, but I am not really interested - unless there is another US-made AK within the same price point (and yes, I know that Zastava is Serbian)
Also, please don't say one of those famous advises
"if you could wait and save $100-200 more, you could get a xxxx rifle ".
budget means budget :)

I owned 3 aks at one time , one was an IO. It had a green mt. Barrel an everything about it was better. Very good customer service too. But they were AKs.an I bought give em away for mzlloaders.
 
Go with the NPap. Serbian AKs are known for their quality and you are getting a Serbian CHF barrel and a known good Zastava receiver. The IO is too much of an unknown and there are way to many horror stories online about their quality for me to feel comfortable about them.
 
It's not an N-PAP but I've got an M-85 PAP ... fit & finish are top notch, I only commented because but the same company/series
 
IO AKs are pretty much bottom-of-the-barrel. Dedicated AK forums like akfiles.com are full of horror stories about IO/RTI/Whatever-Name-They-Are-Going-By-At-The-Moment.

For the same money, you can get a much better rifle like an N-PAP or current-production WASR.
