Currently sorting through many 20-rd boxes of Fiocchi 7.62 X 39 by lot numbers in an attempt to isolate perhaps some hard primers. CZ Model 527 Carbine shoots this stuff without fail until this recent batch. Each box, the first 5 rounds were a FTF. Older boxes of the same stuff (stuff purchased last year and the year before) still shoot fine. When I first bought the rifle I was shooting Russian milsurp; seemed every 20-25 rounds would present a FTF. I'd wait, then put the round aside to top off the next mag and it would fire.
I've never had any issues with other Fiocchi. I run through a bunch of their .45ACP ball and their many varieties of 12 ga buck and slug, all velocities. I've been in touch with their regional rep and I plan another range trip to sample the now-sorted lot numbers.
