Im about to order a bullet puller, digital scale, and digital calipers from midway and the price on the frankford arsenal stuff seams pretty good, but how is the quality

They can have my guns...bullets and bayonets first

Midway is the largest reloading / shooting supply dealer in the U.S.A. for some probably good reason.
Selling perfectly serviceable products at affordable prices is but one.

All their name branded products are probably made in China.
But so is everything else today.

You can buy the same digital calipers with a different sticker on them at Harbor Freight for $9.99 with a Coupon.
You can buy a better working bullet puller from Quinetics for $18 bucks.

Digital scales?
Buy the most expensive ones you can afford and hope for the best.

Or buy a beam scale for $50-$75 bucks and know it will still be working & accurate for the rest of your life.

+1 for rcmodel

I like the RCBS hammer-type bullet puller better than the Frankford. RCBS is simpler.
Stick with a beam scale.
Go to Lowes, Harbor Freight, and get your calipers.

I don't like the calipers - they work fine but they are huge. I prefer my small $10 harbor freight cheapos.

I do not recommend their scale It's VERY sensitive to battery voltage and doesn't have a low volt warning. If my batteries are off by just 0.2 volts from new the scale gives erratic readings. Don't go cheap on the scale... it's your most vital piece of equipment IMO.

I have their tumbler and separator... no complaints there.

Midway is pretty good however, their shipping rates are quite high. Before you buy go to"
www.grafs.com

Their shipping on ANYTHING is $4.95 Midway is sometimes TRIPLE or more over Graf's shipping. It's worth a look.

Frankford arsenal has worked well for me. I have a digital caliper, dial caliper, and tumbler from them. I always liked the dial caliper because I could "feel" the measurements, but that's just me. They have been good quality for me.

As far as scales, usually the more expensive, the better. I would never trust a digital scale at near-max loads. Beam scales are almost NEVER off.

Before you buy anything check amazon first

What WALDOG said. MIDWAY brand, has for the most part, been fairly good stuff, at least what I have bought. Their shipping charges ARE over the top. IMO

And don't forget the "you didn't spend enough fee"

frankford arsenal

I'm one my second Frankford tumbler. Good product for the price. I also have a pair of Frankford dial calipers. They work fine and are accurate.

Big +1 on RCModel's comment on the scales! If you want a digital scale to quickly check things, then a cheap one would probably be OK. If this will be the scale you use to set up your equipment, get a good beam scale. Heck, I've got one of those Lee Safety Scales that so many people dis-like and I would trust it before I would a $300 digital.

I already have the lee safety scale I just wanted something a little simpler and faster to randomly check charges

For the digital caliper, get it at Harbor Freight . Goes on sale about every 2nd or 3rd month. Get the 6" with zeroing at any length and auto shut-off. You will save quite a bit of money and get a perfectly good digital caliper that measures to .0005" rounded off. .0002 will round to .0000" .0003 will round to .0005. Harbor Freight also sells a version without the good features for less money. Get the good one.

$10-$12 when on sale.

I have the Frankford arsenal and the Harbor Freight.

I have thier tumbler and thier little electronic scale. I like the scale, it comes with check weights and I check it often and cross check with my 510 rcbs. It's always been very accurate. Can't complain.

I've got the FA digital scale, analog calipers, and tumbler, and they're all decent for low price options.

As someone mentioned, replace the batteries in the digital scale often, and if your readings start to get more erratic than usual, thats a sign the batteries need replacing. I do prefer the FA digital scale over the Hornady one that came with my LnL kit.

I like the analog calipers a lot.

Tumbler is fine.

my caliper is from ebay and works great for less than $10 (takes time from china though:), my double check scale also ebay and china cheap, my set up scale lee beam scale. Tumbler and bullet wacker errr puller both frankord. do most pulling with press mounted puller just because the hammer tends to wake the other half which NEVER a good thing.
