Is the Sig Sauer P225/P6 9mm Pistol DAO or DA/SA?

He looks good!

I like to way he dropped the first couple of steel plates so quickly. It looked like his arms were getting tired at the end. Holding a gun out there for that long of a stage must be tough for a 9 year old!

I can imagine how proud you are! I'm proud and I don't even know him!

If he keeps practicing, it won't be long till he starts beating his dad!

I'll just echo what's already been said, that the gun has a VERY heavy double-action pull. My wife can barely manage to pull the trigger in double action mode, and while she loves the gun in single action, accuracy on the first shot is impossible without first cocking the hammer.

It is a very easy fix.
Just replace the hammer spring (main spring) with an 18 or 19lb spring from Wolff gun springs. It will make the DA pull come in at about 10lbs. The P6 is the same as a P225.

a P6 with holster, 2 boxes of ammo, and bore snake for $250. It sounds like a good deal to me. Should I take it?

Sonds good to me. The P6 alone sells for $379 down here. Some do have more wear than others but the ones I've seen all looked very good.
