Sorry if this has already been posted, but I came across the article below and thought others might be interested. Apparently, there has been an "anti-violence" crackdown in the UK, where police have been seizing knives, swords, bats and scissors. Apparently, it's illegal to carry a knife or pair of scissors in public in the UK? Here's a quote from the article:
"'It is illegal to carry a knife in public and if, like me, people believe that one knife related crime is one too many, they must make a stand and come forward with information which will help us tackle the problem."
Sound familiar? Yet they say we're crazy for calling a slippery slope, a slippery slope. In the last month I've upgraded my NRA membership from annual to lifetime, joined GOA and Virginia Citizen Defense League. I've emailed my rep and senators twice, and followed up to each with an actual letter. I've also emailed every Virginia delegate (not just my own) at least once. I'm sure every THR'er has been doing the same, right? -Thomas
