Hi Folks! Working on restoring an Enfield No4 Mk1 from the Italian Navy. The metal finish looks like the barrel was rust blued but the hardware and receiver appear to be parkerized (almost worn off). I've spent quite a bit of time trying to decide how to refinish the metal: parked or blued. Does anyone know how the Italian Navy rifles were originally finished? Looking at pictures suggests they came both ways but I can't find anything that spells this out. Help?
