Iver Johnson's???

Hi, I am brand new to THR. I'm not sure if I'm in the correct thread, but I have some questions about an Iver Johnson's .38 S&W I recently acquired. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Or if someone can lead me to the right place to post! Thanks

Iver Johnson made hundreds of thousands of .38 S&W revolvers over the years. As Grizz suggested, we need a lot more information about your gun such as barrel length, type of action (probably a break top?), finish (blued, nickel, rusty, etc.), markings from the top of the barrel and any other places, type/material of grips, and of course the serial number. Take and post some clear, high definition pictures. A ruler next to the barrel will give scale. Also, you said you had questions so ask.
