Hey everyone, thought you guys might be able to help me here...
I am looking for a quality IWB holster for my Kimber CDP Pro II (4”).
At the moment, I have a cheap IWB holster, which lets the gun ride too low onto my belt line (cheapo Uncle Mikes). Because of it riding so low, the thickness of it inside my belt is wider, due to the grips getting inside of there. It’s ok while walking around, but that extra thickness makes it a pain in the car or sitting down. Not to mention getting a good drip to draw is a pain with the grip so close to my pantline.
I have searched these forums and around the net, and I see a lot of suggestions for Milt Sparks VM IIs. Other than the wait time, it seems like a consistently good holster. I know I know, I’m impatient!
But before I spurge on a VMII, does anyone else have any suggestions for other quality IWB holsters to consider? I would like a body protector flap (not sure what they are called) for sweat protection. Also a FBI cant would be preferred for my body style. No thumb/retention straps please, although a reinforced mouth for one-handed draw is a plus. Anyone who has the VM II feel free to chime in too.
Thanks guys!
