Japanese Swords

Saw these the other day at a museum in Honolulu. The top one is from the 1900’s, the other two they said the 1500’s.

The older ones were beautiful.

I have a nice signed Edo period waki and was handling a pre WWII military katana today.

If you ever get to Nagasaki, Japan, there's a museum there with a collection of sword, knives and armor that is simply breath-taking.

Nice display of same in the arms and armor section of the Metropolitan Museum in NYC. Also some beautiful antique revolvers that Tiffany jewelers had their way with at the time.
