I recently acquired a JJ Reeb from a collection!

It’s in need of a good cleaning, but I’d love to know more about it. I’m not a super gun knowledgeable person, but I’m trying here.

On the barrels on top: left barrel says “J.J. Reeb”
Right barrel says: “Hofbuchsenmacher Bonn”

Under the barrels I found the numbers “1404” the letter “H” next to what looks like a backwards “K” and a symbol that is tough to make out. I’ve included photos, I know they’re not excellent quality, but it’s all I have for now!

I know they’re not nitro proofed, so before 1891? But if anyone has any additional information on this gun I’d love to hear it!!

Additionally, what do these guns go for?

Herr Reeb is googlable
From a 2012 post right here
"Johan Jakob Reeb was a gunsmith in Bonn, Germany, who produced high-end hunting rifles and shotguns from the 1870s to the early 1900s; he also ran a gunsmithing school (August Pachmayr, the smith who founded Pachmayr Gun Works, was one of his apprentices). "

There are a good number of Reebs on the www, he ran a pretty good sized operation. I can't help on dollar value.
