John Correia on Holsters

Prolific YouTuber John Correia , founder of Active Self Protection (ASP) has his primary incident commentary training video channel Active Self Protection,
and also a separate self defense commentary channel, Active Self Protection Extra.

So from the hybrid screed, he basically hates leather, got it. And obviously he won't like a Remora. Or pocket carry. And all hybrids are crap. But he is a fan of appendix carry.

I have one holster that would meet his criteria, but it is an OWB competition holster, not suitable for concealment, at all. On the other hand, I do have a hybrid with none of his problems, I do have an Remora holster I use, and I have two leather holsters that work fine, that didn't cost me as much as a Milt Sparks.

And I would never use Appendix carry.

No, John doesn’t hate leather. He hates soft suede leather, and leather matched up to Kydex.

I have five leather holsters from Simply Rugged and every one meets Johns test for a quality holster.

And yes, Sticky holsters like Remoras suck, as to so many other holsters on the market. You need either heavy leather or Kydex.
