Rest In Peace

John was a wealth of info and his 1 on 1 experiences with people leading their field is most like unlikely to ever be duplicated.

I loved seeing his pictures, especially his loading and casting room.

Maybe it all went to a good home

Where can you find some pictures of John and his body of work? I plugged his name into the Google and it seemed pretty sparse. I'm about to pay $66 for a used paperback copy of Unintended Consequences. It wasn't available on Kindle at the time I spoke to him about it but he said he was working on some licensing thing so that Amazon could make it available on Kindle and lo and behold, it's $8.99 on Kindle.

I'm not about to read an 860+ page book on my phone and I'm not about to pay $400 for a hardcover, but I can live with $66 for paperback.

Why is it such a rare and hard to find book? I mean, that probably sounds naive given the subject matter but seriously, with everything one click away, I would think if the publisher could print and sell out, they would....

He self published.

I have read his posts on the Smith & Wesson forum about how he loathed the use of Titegroup powder being used in the 500 S&W Magnum. And he furnished many pictures of how that powder had blew up several 500 S&W revolvers.
