I just finished my Whitetail deer taxidermy work by mounting a 15 point buck taken during the 2021 Oklahoma rifle season and a 9 point buck taken during the 2022 Oklahoma rifle season. My wife never complains much if I do one deer each year but she raises heck if I do two. This past year she must have been feeling guilty about something because I got away with doing both of
these deer. Both of the bucks were Oklahoma river bottom bucks taken on our farm and I feel really lucky to have quality bucks to mount. I have been doing my own taxidermy work since 1999 and have had a lot of practice. These bucks were big mature bucks weighing over 200 pounds. I apologize for the clutter in my taxidermy shed because I use it as a workshop and things really accumulate. The 2021 buck was taken with a 280 Remington and the 2022 buck was taken with a 338-06.
