Was just looking at Mr Calendar and the Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms show is right around the corner.. Getting a wild hair about going and did not know if anyone else was looking at going..

Nope. It is too big to do in one day and my feet can’t handle all of that walking on concrete. One thing I have learned from past years is if you see something you want you better by it then and there.

Will definitely be there. Never miss it. It’s worth the price of admission just to see all the guns. But I always end up buying SOMETHING.

Now Sir that is sage advice, and you are right.. Have found there are 2 things working against you there.. One is finding your way back to that table again and another is some rascal will come behind you and buy it before you get back .

I don't know if I'm going this year. I have an infant and a toddler.
My wife and I love looking at everything and buy something we don't really need.

Not going again for a while. Went about two years ago on the first visit.

Walking twice by every table with rifles during two days, and I never saw a true "Czechpoint" VZ-58. It was the only objective besides sheer wonder at the other selections, but there were a pair of the Century VZ-58 versions.
No thanks.

Didn't buy anything, then on the second day we drove back to Memphis. That was before really getting into handguns, so the timing might have been better.

After attending probably 50 shows, I have about quit going. They have moved the Fall show dates to hit our deer season. Between that and the fact that my MS causes me trouble walking, I've quit going. I tried renting a battery powered chair but the show is just too crowded for one of those to be much help. I have bought a lot of stuff at that show over the years. I miss it!

We lived in Tulsa 20 years ago and used to go to the show both Spring and Fall. The wife and I helped with the FNRA committee back then and Joe would donate tickets for the fund raising dinner. Good times...

I've only missed 2 shows in the last 15 years. I'll be there again in November. I go with friends who have missed very few shows for the past 35+ years! It is truly a wonder to behold. Acres of guns!!! What could be better? I've bought lots at the show.....guns, ammo, reloading supplies. etc., but never anything I didn't "need". See ya'll there.
