Ultra 7 is a top shelf can. Just remember that the TBAC Ultras are 100% titanium construction, so you don't want to get any part of them over 1,000°F.
I personally like a little more can for range use, which is why my standard Accipiter model that I push for general purpose is a 1.6" diameter tubeless design in 8"+ length. I view the 6"-7" long cans being used with full power rifles more as hunting cans, able to knock the report down, but kinda borderline for recreational use without ear pro. I make them and I use them, but the range toys firing .243, 7mm-08, 7x57, .280, .308, .30-06, .300 win mag, etc. generally have 8"-9" long critters. Semi autos are a little different, though, port noise making it rather pointless to use quieter but longer cans; on those, if there's gonna be ~136+ dB at shooter's ear anyway coming from the port, no reason to tolerate extra length and weight to get 130 at muzzle. So most of the semi-autos are wearing 5"-7" cans.
Suppressors are definitely a game of priorities, no one can does everything the best. If you want shorter, you give up suppression. If you want lighter, you give up some ruggedness. If you want higher precision, you are more limited in mounting options. If you want tough as nails, there's gonna be a weight penalty. And if you want lower cost, you probably have to sacrifice in another category; the rifle cans I build offer a lot of performance at a more modest price point, but they're made out of 100% 17-4 H900 stainless steel, so heavier than a titanium TBAC and won't take continuous mag dumps/full auto fire as well as a Rugged Surge or Dead Air Sandman with their Cobalt 6 (Stellite) cores.
