I considered the CM9 when I was shopping for a CC gun.
The thing that made me decide against it was the same thing that made me decide against the Ruger LC9. It was the long trigger reset. You have to release the trigger nearly all the way back to its original position before the next shot. Double tapping is out.

I ended up going with a Taurus 709 Slim. I know some will think I'm crazy for choosing Taurus over Kahr but it fits the bill nicely and has never failed.

Just shoot them like a revolver.

I'm actually happy with my choice.
This little Taurus has really surprised me. I've heard horror stories, but apparently the 709 is one they got right.

The trigger was the best thing about mine.

Why is trigger reset a thing now? How fast are people shooting a DAO defense pistol that a long reset is holding them back?

Really? Hasn't stopped me with my two CM9s..

I "double tap" mine all the time without any problems. We seemed to do the job just fine with revolvers for decades, law enforcement included.
