Kahr Rebadging the P99/SW99?

Kahr bought Magnum Research (the Desert Eagle people) ... Magnum Research's new Baby Eagle is a clone of the P99/SW99 ... looks like Kahr is rebadging the Baby Eagle.

If I remember right, Walther and Magnum Research entered into a licensing agreement for MR to sell a licensed model of the 99 series. Perhaps now that Kahr has bought MR they've reached an agreement to expand their involvement in the licensed version of the 99 series. Dunno.

Remember when S&W had a similar licensing agreement for the SW99/990L, except S&W made their own slides & barrels? Maybe Kahr is doing something similar.

Now S&W is licensed to make the PPK & PPK/S and is the importer & distributor for other Walther products.

Might be where the "MR" came from as Gunblast simply calls it the MR40
