Wichita Tea Party Planned for Tax Day, April 15

Bailouts, stimulus, pork.

It’s never enough.
It’s never over.
There’s no end in sight.

Tell Washington that enough is enough!

We’ll be protesting near the main Wichita post office on West Harry Street, north of the airport.

There will be food and drinks, with a small donation requested.

The time is from 4:15 pm to 8:00 pm. Come and go as you please.

Bring your homemade signs.

I have seen this on other boards as well as well as some photographs.

What gets to me is that I have yet to see the "Mainstream Media" cover any of these, yet when 2 people camped infront of Bush's Ranch reporters from every major network in the country were there. What is up with that?

Maine has several of these scheduled at various locations and times. Augusta has two or three the same day at the same location at different times with different organizers (the original and largest one starts at 5PM).

I live near Wichita, I just might gather up the courage to show up to this. I hear Sean Hannity talk about this all the time. I'm a longtime listener and I hope I'm a great American. I hope I'm free that day.

Here is the cool part of the tax day tea parties. A lot of cities are refusing to issue permits, or denying them on made up pretenses. I love it, "sure you can protest, but only with permission". Well, I don't think I need to say it, but people WILL show up, permit or no permit. Do you suppose "they"(Gov,LEO,etc) will break out riot gear and start a riot? I know it sounds bad, but I certainly hope they do. It will guarantee media coverage, and probably cause a lot more people to stand up and say "HELL NO".

I hope no one gets hurt! But I will be at my protest weither or not there is a "Permit" or not!

I also hope that these protest will get "Media" coverage, so that more people will wake up. I still see many saying "Obama better than Bush!" and "Everyone, but racist, loves Obama!".

I am not sure what the deal is with most of my "American Brothern" weither it is they are just mis-informed or just stupid but they "should had a V8" not "hope".

I just came from a Tea Party held in a nearby town. I was glad to see at least one of the speakers mentioned the continuing government infringement on our Constitutional rights in general, and the 2nd Amendment in particular.
