KelTec P17

I mentioned elsewhere that I picked up a new KelTec P17 recently. They have an MSRP of $199, which is what I got it for. I've seen them over $350 on Gunbroker. Thankfully, my local shop is not so greedy.
I took mine to the range today, I only took 200 rounds, 100 CCI MiniMags, 100 Win 40gr HP.
The gun shoots great. The mags are easy to load up to 15rds, I always had trouble getting number 16 in there. I quit after awhile and just loaded 15. It fed and shot very well.Accuracy was pretty decent too.
The only hiccup was a Win HP that didn't extract completely. I think it hit the next round in the mag. I had to drop the mag and the spent round fell out. I then went through another 3 mags without a problem, including some rapid fire mag dumps.
If you can get it at a fair price, it's a fun little gun.

I got one back in spring, they are cool little guns. Probably the last new gun I'll ever buy for $200..haha

I got a P17 in July. Love that little gun. The wife loved it too, now it sits in the safe in her closet, I guess it is hers now. At least I'll still get to shoot it.

So instead of posting here in response to the OP, I should do a search for P17 to see if there were already threads about it? Come on, man, that's ridiculous.
