I'm not a huge fan of the AR-15 ergos but I do like 5.56 semi auto rifles.

The KelTec RDB seems like a cool solution to NY gun laws. Has anyone used one? What did you think?

Hmm, is an RDB (or RDF) SAFE compliant? Distinctive pistol grip and a detachable magazine might not be compliant--dunno. Is SAFE "one feature" or a "two feature" AW bill?

RDB works better than the RDF. 10 round STANAG mags are hard to fish out of either (a 20 "permanently altered" to 10 would be a lot easier to grab).

They are KelTecs, so they are cool for what they do, and quirky about what they don't. Just the way KelTec is.
A bit easier to move the Point of Aim to Point of Impact instead of vice versa.
Not entirely left-hand friendly; and are a pain to change shoulders if an offset hold is needed.
Price point is, probably, going to compare with SAFE-compliant rifles.

I was a bit underwhelmed by either of the KelTek (especially the RDF, as it could get empties jammed in the front ejection slot). The Dessert Tech MDR was better for me--the price point still an issue.
