I saw this knife the other day, for some odd reason, I really want one.

Although I can't carry this version in CA and don't want the CA legal one with a sub 2" blade!

There's something about the funky lines that both makes me want one and not want one.
I've actually looked at the "CA legal" ones, as I find more uses for 2" auto knives than their larger brethren (and I have plenty of larger knives auto and non-auto).

I'm passing certain that BladeHQ, BladeOps, or SMKW will lure me into one on sale in the near future.

Pretty much what I was thinking. On the one hand, the handle just doesn't look that substantial given the width of the blade, but lines of the blade itself are interesting. And, I've had great luck with Kershaw knives, for me, always great value for the quality of the knives.

If only the blade was 2.5 inches long. I actually just bought a launch 9 last night from bladehq. We'll see how I like the mighty Mite

It's what batman would carry if he needed a knife. (At least the black version) I've wanted one for years.

On the other hand, my protech tr3x1 auto doesn't get carried much. Honestly, switchblades are old technology and modern ball bearing knives are just as easy to open, and close much better, with stronger locks. I always wind up grabbing something else out of the knife nest.

tool truck had one to play with. I didn't like it, the skeletonized grip makes it hard to get a firm grip and the blade does deploy with authority. I have others in the Launch series I prefer
