Kimber Magazines

I recently aquired a used Springfield GI. It came with 2 magazines, One is unmarked in any way, no letters, numbers, names. How can you tell what it may be? The other one is a Kimber 8 round mag. It seems to perform well and was thinking about getting the Kimber mags since the one I have does great. I never see any talk about Kimber mags like you hear with Checkmate, Wilson, Mec-Gar etc. Is there any thing wrong with the Kimbers that you don't hear that much about them? Thank you

It seems that there's been a lot of complaining about Kimber magazines.
Personally, I have 5 Kimbers/magazines and I have had not the first problem with them.

The one Mag. that comes with their guns are not real good. The Pro Tac Mags are better but I would look at others first. Wilson or Tripp.

The Mag. that came with my Pro Carry 45 and 9mm would nick the feed ramp.

Get some Wilson ETM model magazines. You'll like them.
