Kimber Pepper Blast II

Noticed Kimber is releasing a pepper blaster with an improved grip. I have the 1st generation pepper blaster and have tested several and they are very effective. Yes, I know they only have two shots but they shoot out 1/2 ounce of OC solution with 2.4% Capsaicinoids at 4 million SHUS. It shoots a wide spray pattern at about 12 inches x 12 inches and it has the consistency of honey. It covers the face with just one shot and it is easy to carry in a pocket. I prefer this to the smaller key ring sprays.

So does anyone carry a Pepper Blaster and do you have any experience with it? Have you ever fired yours or had to use it?

I had one for my wife when she worked nights. She gave it to a friend at work who had an abusive ex-boyfriend stalking her.

I saw the new model in American Handgunner, and I am favorably impressed. Should be much more instinctive aiming.

Yes, big improvement. I had an older one but it's really kind of bulky unfortunately for a guy who carries a few things already and doesn't wear cargo pants all the time. Gave it to some girl, guarantee it's gathering dust on top of her fridge!

The new unit looks like you could rig a clip to the right side (if it doesn't have one already) and carry cross-draw appendix, not too shabby!
