I went into the gun shop to buy some 10mm ammo and I walked out with a Kimber Rimfire. It was in on consignment. I guess the guy had it for only a week and had never even shot it. I looked it over and can't find any signs of it being shot. Got it for $525. Been wanting one anyway. I hope that an all aluminim pistol can stand up to thousands and thousands of rounds. Even if they are only .22

I don't think you should have any problems w/ the Kimber! If it's anything like the other 1911 22's I've shot, it should be a long lasting, great shooting pistol. congrats ;)

Kimber .22 rifles call to me every time I see them, but the $800+ price tags typically on them tell me to pass. (There's always layaway, I guess. ;) )

WOW $800 plus. My dealer had a new blued Rimfire for $649 in the cabinet by this one. Still $650 is alot for a .22
Anyway,
Put 500 rounds of some Remington hp's through it this morning. Not a single problem. Money well spent. This gun is going to be a great training aid for me. I am one happe puppy. :D
