I am new to the forum, but I wanted to share my experience with these gun belts.

I have been through numerous gunbelts in my 32 years of public service. KORE belts are the best I have EVER used. The ratcheting function allows for unfits adjustability and comfort.

I actually use a Kore tactical belt as my off duty cc belt. Very high quality piece of gear and I also have one for on-duty in leather. It supports my firearms so well I forget my firearm is even there! So yes, I would recommend it.

Any thoughts?

I kind of wish I could get one in my hands to try out and examine. They get such universally good reviews that there has to be something wrong with them. They are excellently priced.

This used to be my thoughts with the Wilderness belts. Universally praised. I own one currently and I have not worn it for several years. Wasn’t stiff enough and I hated the Velcro and the “infinity buckle”.

I started a thread recently on leather, steel and kydex reinforced gun belts. There were numerous suggestions in there. Some of them looked quite appealing. I don't normally wear belts, but I compared a Relentless tactical single-layer 14 oz leather belt with the KORE leather gun belt.

The most unappealing thing about the Kore is the Made in China stamp. Because I love China and the Chinese people, I am biased against the Chinese government, their unfair trade practices, and oppressive economics, and because I appreciate the people living in the US, I favor buying their products.

The leather looks fine, but it is just thin split layers stitched together over the kydex or polyethylene strap.

The buckle is more finely adjustable than any that use holes through the leather, but it is not as secure. It is certainly not as secure as a Wilderness belt, though I wouldn't want to repel with any of them.

The belt, because of the reinforcement, is stiffer than the much thicker Relentless belt. It is still not as stiff as I would like it to be. I have a gun that loaded is over 3 pounds and the Kore belt flops and sags unless it is fairly tight. Most people's guns these days are half that weight, but the reason for these reinforced belts is not just for the "average" guy's loadout. I'm not dissatisfied with the lack of rigidity enough to buy yet another belt.

Overall, the belt is nicely made, has appealing features, and works better for my heavy gun than almost all the other belts out there.

I have 2 KORE belts and carry regularly with them both.

Try them, I think you will like them. Good warranty as well. One of my leather belts developed a very small tear. I probably rubbed up against a metal burr at work somewhere. They sent me a new leather belt (minus buckle) for free.
