I'm trying to find a standard looking laptop bag with a hidden compartment for carrying a pistol - ideally a velcro closed pouch that looks like a seam and not a pocket.

Every one that I've seen so far has a zippered compartment that would be invisible to sheeple - but pretty obvious to anybody actually looking (security, police, etc).

I've seen a couple around, but can't seem to source any when looking to buy one.

This Dillon is the closest I've been able to find but still has the zipper: http://www.dillonprecision.com/#/content/p/9/pid/23864/catid/14/Dillon__039_s_Concealed_Carry_Tote

Anybody have a recommendation for a good one that has a concealed conceal pocket?

Can you see why this raises RED flags?

Hi. I'm trying to hide my gun from cops and those pesky deputies stationed outside of court houses.

Can anyone offer me any advice on how to accomplish this?

By that kind of thinking you would condone against any kind of concealed carry. I'm not carrying anyplace that is illegal but at the same time don't want to scream I HAVE A CONCEALED PISTOL!!!

Also keep in mind muggers, thugs, rapists, murderers, etc will be looking for the same things police and security are looking for when assessing if somebody is a threat or possibly carrying. Maybe I should modify my original post to make this a more acceptable ask for you?

Ah yes RIIIIPP!!!!

That would be second to the "Ka-KLICK!" or a Rack noise.

That laptop case will get in the way or actually someone will try to swipe it from you.

I think there is or was a Blackhawk Fanny Pack with breakaway leather for handguns but you think everyone around said courthouse will see you coming a mile away.

With such goot security at house, why do you STILL want to be armed?

Interesting that everybody thinks I want this to take a weapon into the courthouse when I never said anything about when/where I would want to carry via the pouch...

Anyway - I'll just keep on looking for something as I've seen them around but can't seem to source any new.

A laptop carrying case. Let's see, "Let's combine one valuable piece of property that's likely to attract thieves with ANOTHER valuable piece of property that's likely to attract thieves." Great idea! NOT. The idea behind concealed carry is to NOT attract unwanted attention. A laptop bag attracts all the wrong kinds of attention, and risks you losing both your gun and your laptop at the same time. Thieves see it as a two-for-one. It's a bad idea. Period.

If Im carrying a hand gun AND a computer, I want my hand gun on my person. I dont want to have to put my computer bag down to get my gun out of it. If the proverbiale feces hits the ocsilating wind machine, I want to be able to drop whatever I have in my hands and immediately be able to return fire. Like for example if someone decides they want to mug me at gun point for my computer!

Wouldn't that suck if you were mugged for your computer and couldn't get to your gun because the bad guy had it?

Ok I guess I started this by askiing if you could see why it MIGHT raise some red flags. Can you understand that?
Off body carry is a poor third choice. I do have a "computer gear bag" that I use as my (man bag) :) Yep there is spare mags, light, box of ammo and other stuff in there. As well as spare clothing/meds/water/etc. I take it with me every time I leave the home. It is clear to anyone there is NOT a computer in it.
The gun is in it when I have to go places I can't carry and it stays in car. I have used a laptop/case. You open them up and flop lid. (gun would go THUNK on table) You dig stuff out and stick case along side (gun would unbalance it I would think) plus not always in your control. :(
There are lots of reasons you should look at other methods. IF you can secure the case (which means gun is unavailable to you)...
I.E. If you have to go home after dark/alone thru parking lot and you can secure the gun during day then load/holster for walk to car it would be option.
Just a note. Police/Security don't have X-ray vision. They just (normally) watch people more then average. They see who "checks" their gun (takes hand and covers/squeezes gun that is under coat to make sure it has not fallen out) Action when they see/deal with Officers.
I went to the "Mouse House" a few yrs back with fanny pack. Only one noticed the hidden velcro pocket. ( I think she noticed it...she did kinda a double take then smiled.) she asked me to slide my knife deeper in my pocket for a few seconds. I said "Ok" and she told me to enjoy my day.

if it is a small laptop, then try lapolicegear.com
and look for their bail out or gear bag. It will fit some 15 inch computers and certainly something smaller. It is a great all around bag as well as a good bargin, so even if it doesn't work out, you will likely be glad you have it.
