KurtC, how about some details? I have a Redhawk in .45 Colt but it doesn't look anything like yours. What a beauty!! It looks very custom and what a great finish on it ... glass bead blast perhaps?
This is what happens when Hamilton Bowen does his magic. It started as a standard .45 colt 4" model. He fitted a .454 Casull unfluted cylinder, installed the Weigand interchangeable front sight along with his own Rough Country rear, tuned the action, round butted the grip frame and gave the whole thing a satin finish.
KurtC, thanks for the details ... you've certainly shown me what's possible for my Redhawk (also a 4"). So now you have a 4" Redhawk Alaskan ... AWESOME!!
An older thread but what the heck ... I recently added this Alaskan to the four shown above. That'll be it for a while. I plan on enjoying what I have rather than thinking about what I want.
