Many of my work pants have a pocket large enough to carry a Ruger P95. Does anyone know of a pocket holster that will fit a P95?

Looks like I am headed to Tandy Leather. They have bags of scrap leather pretty cheap and Ace hardware has a complete stock of rivets.

Desantis makes a couple of them that are extendable on both sides. There are adjustable velcro wings that can be added. My Dad wears those blue auto mechanic dickies all of the time that have huge pockets and uses those holsters for several different guns that he carries.

Wild Bill's does not make a pocket holster large enough for a P95 and he will not make any custom ones. To each his own but I can't imagine carrying a P95 in a pocket holster. I find it hard to believe Clint Smith carries an N frame Smith in one either except to have a picture made and write an article.:)

It is entirely possible you may be correct.

However, you can find his "Reality Check" articles on-line at American Handgunner. Here are a few I can remember.

I have already found a holster. I cut the clip off an Uncle Mikes IWB holster. It works great, the stock is the first thing I grab when I reach for the pistol.

I wear Red Kap work clothes. They are less expensive than Dickies and better made. If you are tall Red Kap clothing will actually fit you. They sell jeans and t shirts too. Most retailers want $25 for a t shirt that fits me. Lots of tall clothing is just baggy so it hangs down on a tall man. Red Kap actually fits me.

If you need a longer t-shirt, have you seen what Duluth Trading offers?

I will grab a couple of the long tail t shirts for IDPA. The Hanes beefy t shirts fit me. But if my pants slip down just a little my gun really isn't concealed. I don't shoot IDPA with any of the holsters I actually use to carry a gun. I would prefer to shoot with the holsters I use to carry a gun. The is no way to shoot a match without DQing with a real carry holster. I guess we have to live with what we have.
