Looking for some LC9 iwb holster recommendations. I'm leaning toward a "crossbreed" style but am open to all suggestions from those with an LC9 or similar demension single stack. I am used to more of an appendix carry but could go to 4-430 too. Looking for comfort and of course concealability while standing and seated.

I recently bought an LC9 with the Crimson Trace laser.

Just to keep me "in the swim" until I make a final decision on my "main-use" holster, I'm using a Bianchi clip-on IWB design for the present.

However, I'm looking very hard at the "Sneaky Pete", which is a belt pouch that looks like something for a PDA or Smartphone, etc. Google "sneaky pete holster" and have a look.

It is custom-fitted to the gun.... they have different models for the LC9 depending on which laser (or no laser ) is installed. It has a full flap, held closed by magnets, and the gun is really "hidden in plain sight".

At $49, I'm seriously considering this holster.

what Ive read on "sneaky pete" is that it is WAY to large to look legit. Im looking at some knock off crossbreed style holsters at the moment but am open to other ideas----but probably will stick to iwb style.

The Crossbreed style seems like a lot of holster for a gun as small as the LC9. One of the advantages of those wide platform holsters is they spread the weight out along the belt, a good idea for a large, heavy gun like a 1911. That advantage is lost on a little gun like the LC9.

I'd think you'd be better off with a more compact holster for that little gun.

I'd look at the new Sticky Holsters.

This Florida based firm sells nylon holsters that can quickly convert from pocket to ankle to IWB. :D
They offer 10% discounts to sworn LE & military service members too.
Sticky Holsters offers pocket-belt style magazine holders.

Other good brands include: DeSantis Nemnesis, Galco, Don Hume, Mika, Bianchi-intl, Blade-tech, Wright Leather Works, High Noon Holsters.

This is a very timely thread for me.

After seeing the comment above on the size/bulk of the Sneaky Pete holster I've been considering, I Googled a number of videos.

Comments on the holster in those videos support the comments above on this thread.

I noticed, however, that most of the guns in those reviews were considerably larger (and fatter) than the LC9. One used a full-size Kimber 1911, one used a Springfield .40-caliber XD, and so on.

The LC9 is less than an inch thick, and barely six inches long. Since the holster is specifically sized to the gun it's intended to carry, I expect the final result will be a lot less-bulky than the holsters I saw in those reviews.

Since I still like the concept, and workmanship looks very good, I'll probably order one and give it a try.

I hope it doesn't join the others in that boxful of discarded holsters that I've amassed over the years....

If you're looking for a hybrid holster like the Crossbreed, check outTommy Theis at Theis Holsters.

I own two of his for two different guns and I love them. Comfortable, well-made and he gives a life-time warranty as well as a two-week return policty on all his holsters. Very good guy to deal with and he'll take care of the rare issues promptly. Also, it's only $65 shipped and his lead time is usually 2-3 weeks.

I carry my LC9 IWB with a belt clip. Before that I carried a number of Kel-Tecs with belt clips. Before that I carried a snubby revolver with grip clip IWB. Heck I can't even remember ever carrying a gun IWB with a holster and I've carried for 37 years 34 of that in law enforcement.

The clip attaches directly onto the gun and you don't need a holster.
