lead conicles in cva optima?

can i use tc conicals in a 50 cal cva optima or are these just for percussion or flint locks? having issues with penetration, blood trails and accuracy and figured try these.

They'll work as long as the twist vs length vs powder charge is good. They may likely need a felt wad under them.
