Leaded Barrel

Mercury works, but it's toxic.
A Lewis Lead Remover works, but it's something to buy.
Shreds of copper Chore Boy scrubber wrapped around a brush does pretty well and is cheap.
JB Bore cleaner gets out the last bits and polishes the barrel so it will lead less.

If it is a stainless steel one you can make 50/50 mix Hydrogen Peroxide and Vinegar and soak it for about 30 min and the lead will just fall out. But do not use this on a plain steel barrel it will stain it and make it look like crap.

Klean-bore makes LEAD AWAY PATCHES a moist patch that removes lead. Should be available at any store that handles KLEAN-BORE products.
