Does anyone know of a company that makes leather pistol holsters that have some type of cloth or fiber on the inside? I have personally modified my leather 1911 holster with some soft cloth on the inside to help keep wear off as long as possible, but I am curious to whether or not there is an actual company produces a leather holster like that.

Thanks.

Check out www.epsaddlery.com ElPaso saddlery lines almost all their holsters. Tagua gunleather has smooth leather on both sides of their holsters but it isn't a soft lining like some. I've noticed several other makers will line them for an additional charge.

I have a High Noon Holsters Sky High which is lined-they claim their lining is synthetic and better than the often used suede by most makers-true or not I can't say.
You'll have to search a bit as some makers offerer lined holsters only in certain models.
I have a DeSantis Thumb Break Scabbard that's lined, and a Galco FX Suede (also lined), but none of mine are for 1911s.

FWIW, DeSantis is now carried by Optics Planet (free shipping over $29.95 and easily Googled 5% discount codes). The particular High Noon I got took 3 months to get-think I got the Galco off eBay for a good price from a surplus place, although they're probably carried by Optics Planet also?
