Anyone use the new Aluminum Lock Ring Eliminators?

I've been using the steel ones, first on a Breech Lock Classic Cast SS and then on an ABLP. They work fine.

I noticed Lee is showing a new aluminum lock ring eliminator anodized in various colors and it looks to have a slotted screw to tighten the collar instead of an internal hex-head capscrew. It seems like this should work ok, but I want to know if it's just a cheapened part before I buy some, and whether I should buy the steel ones before they're gone.

There is a cool factor with the bright colors, but I don't have a breech lock press. I think the ring is misnamed, mebbe a "breech lock locking ring"? FWIW, I have never relied on a lock ring (whichever kind) to repeat any die setting. When I inserted a die, I would always check and double check the setting. Many times the die needed "tweeking"...

And that "lock ring wrench" is cute...:p
