Turkish 1934 Mauser, took it out few weeks ago, has a very smooth light trigger. Test fired a 10 shot volley of Prvi ammo in a 10 minute time span, it seems as the gun gets hot impact area changes. S&B ammo shoots decent but higher up.

That looks like a 1903 action. They are my favorite Turkish Mauser.

Ordered this rifle to enter TSRA 80 year commemorative 1903 Springfield match in 1983. When it arrived, apparently unfired (most likely an arsenal rebuild??), decided not to put the first round down the tube. It was manufactured in 1938 and is shown with an original M1920 wooden handled bayonet.

Found that any unaltered 1903 or A3 was legal, so chose this Remington A3, manufactured in May of 1943. The rear mounted peep sight being a bit better for accurate shooting, not to mention the increased sight radius.

Turned out to be the right choice for my first match after a 21 year hiatus from competition, in spite of a rear sight that slipped down a click about every 3rd round resulting in an 8 or 9 at 6 o'clock.
