new Beretta 92fs I just got for $429.00 a gun store is running a special right now. Posing with a M9 bayonet and the Bianchi UM holster that I love, love that holster wish they made them for other types than typical M&P guns. I also have a 92fs USA made back from 1996

My son brought me one when he was discharged (honorably of course) from the UMC. It fits my 1911 perfectly.

that standard UM fits many guns, it fits my 1911, Walther P-38, and a few others and they make a couple different ones for other guns also. I have one for 4 inch revolvers also, wish they made one for 6 inch revolvers and wish they made one for the full size HK USP. I 'm left handed so that holster is awesome for switching either way. I like having a full flap for protection, but there are add on also to make it a faster snap.

Now the military has gone to a different holster a hard plastic thing.

This one was donated to me by a 15 year old attempting to pry open the coin box of a newspaper vending machine with it, in lieu of an arrest while off duty. Anything to stay out of juvenile court. lol

S&W620, can you show and tell us more about the knife?
Folder? (Assuming)

Sure, it’s a Laguiole knife, which is a traditional French pocketknife.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laguiole_knife

It is a slipjoint folder and a design that’s commonly seen paired with a corkscrew on the back. This is the particular manufacturer and model I have, but there are multiple manufacturers who build this style of knife.

Hopefully these pics work, I can upload them again if needed. As I mentioned I haven’t posted in a while and I’m not accustomed to all the new features .

A photo of the “bee”, which is a traditional part of a Laguiole.

The “Shepard’s cross”. A few pins are inserted into the handle so that when the shepards were in the field they could stick the knife in the dirt or a loaf of bread and have a cross to pray to.

Great photo! Love the engraved Blackhawk and the vintage Case Kodiak Hunter knife!

Thanks. I love the Blackhawk, very accurate in .45 Colt. I had it personalized because I knew I'd never sell it or trade it. The guy that engraved it, Mr. Logan, is gone now, but he had quite a past, very interesting fellow. The grips are Sanbar stag, bought from Ajax grips which is out of business. I have always kinda had a thing for stag. My late father gave me the Case Kodiak about 1974 for Christmas. :D The stag grip on the knife kinda goes with the revolver. :D

Here's Mr. Logan's Wiki page. I was privileged to know this man. He was quite the artist and had an amazing life.

Googling "Sid Vicious 007 knife" gave me this: a History of NYC and the 007 knife. Looks like you're correct, a 007 knife was involved with Mr. Vicious. Interesting read about a nasty time in NYC's history and the role that knife played in it. And I was there.... lol

I started with my agency in NYC in 1969 and did 40 years.

I thought so, lol!
People used to make such a culty big deal about that incident, Mr. Vicious, and the Sex Pistols. I Googled it too, about a year ago, and was fascinated as well. I guess the shooting of John Lennon was part of that big picture. Seemed like somebody famous was involved in something like that in NYC all the time in the 70's and 80's...or became famous, like Bernie Goetz the subway vigilante. Scary world but fascinating. I grew up about an hour from NYC, FYI.
