With the 12 and 20 ruling the popularity roost, I know that many connoisseurs of the shotgun have a 28 Ga or a .410 bore that they love to pull out of the safe and take afield (Either the upland fields or the clay fields).

I'll start off with a BPS 28, an 1100 .410 and a Red Label 28 that I love to shoot trap with.

Very nice one and all! I used to have several 28s, but then I started loading 3/4oz reloads in both 12 and 20 and sold them off.........Now, going forward, I would like a Perazzi MX20 in 28 ga with a drop out trigger for targets and a Beretta 687EELL for birds and I'd most likely sell all my others.

Not much of a "connoisseur" shotgun. This is a 410 topper that belonged to my late FIL, now property of Mrs FL-NC, found in a closet after her mom passed a few years back. I bought a box of shells for it. I guess I could use it if I wanted to shoot some squirrels. Otherwise, it's in the gun cabinet in the event of another rattlesnake or copperhead in my yard.

The leather-bound cases that Holland & Holland supplied with their best quality guns are museum pieces by themselves!

That Royal Grade double is incredible , I would love to handle/shoot one someday.

Stay safe!

I agree, those are almost too fine to shoot... almost ;). In the right hands I’ll bet they just dance!

Offhand has some really nice examples of the art of gun making. Thank you for sharing

Those aren’t guns, those are expensive pieces of art that just happen to be able to set off shotgun shells. lol

Beauties, every one! Thanks for letting us see them.

While nothing fancy like some posts, I think I win the sub guage challenge for smallest :) :. Anschutz made GECO garden gun. .22 caliber shot, has about 8" of rifled bore so regular bullets shoot ok, but the rifling slings shot out to 16 more inches of .40 caliber smooth bore the last 2 inches choked to .375" . It shoots amazingly good to about 60 feet with uniform 8 inch patterns. It uses Anschutz 164 type magazines which I have a few of . This is the ultimate around yard gopher getter or rat IMG_20190306_175319258.jpg IMG_20190306_175303563.jpg slayer or starling gun.

How about a .357??? I finally got a choke for my contender hotshot.... not that it will be used much, but it will be tried out for sure.

Apparently I don’t have a pic with the .357 barrel installed, I will be changing that.
