i didn’t know trucks in Hawaii had heaters.;)
Depends on where water starts leaking from first....
I think he meant window crank
that's the AC......

truthfully tho, I do well in cool weather but a few places I hunt (sit for sun up, or sun set) I could go for a heated box to hide in.

I used to go to a charity hunt in Demopolis, AL. It was on a plantation and there was a shooting house on it with electricity to it and it had Lazy Boys, a refrigerator, window A/C, and a TV antenna tower for watching football games. The stairway had 2 landings. I didn't see a heater but I'm sure there was one.

It was for the private use of the owners not for the charity hunters. :(

I catch a little grief about hunting in heated blind from time to time, just want everyone to know, I do it for the children.

Their little fingers don't have the stamina and toughness for rugged non-stop cold weather hunting....(like mine ;)). Thankfully "Big Buddy heaters" can warm those little fingers and makes it easier to handle snacks.

When I was young the cold didn't bother me nearly as much as it does now that I am 76. COOL weather bothers me now. :-( When I get old I guess I will have to buy some insulated coveralls to wear around the house. I've been wearing a jacket inside today.

Speaking of hand warmers, I have one somewhere that I musta bought 50 + years ago. Uses Ronsonal (spelling) lighter fluid.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

I remember those metal hand warmers (Jon-e and Zippo) and big yellow bottles of Ronsonol lighter fluid. You did not want to overfill the wick material such that it would leak out. That lighter fluid would cause a really irritating chemical burn to your skin.

I'd forgotten about those things. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Vintage Hand Warmer.jpg

I have a few of those as well as the type that burned charcoal sticks.
I always hated the smell of them, but Iirc they had an attachment for putting out deer scent.
