The anti-reflection device on my VX-R patrol 3-9x40 is just a hair too loose.
It pulls out easy and pops out with recoil. Big issue for field use.
So I'm looking for any suggestions on securing it within the objective lens area without making it permanent so as to be able to clean behind it.

I tried applying a small dab of super glue to each tooth (enough to break free) but it proved too brittle and came loose with the slightest impact. Also, there are no anchor points for bungee attachment like on the ACOG
Any and all suggestions welcome!

Leupold is awesome with resolving issues, great CS.

I thought those ARD's on Leupold's were threaded anyway? I think they started threading them about 10 or so years ago, mine are all threaded.

I bought this one from midway and it's a Leupold stamped ARD. Pop in type.
I'll give a small bit of that silicone a shot and see how it works.
Think it'll bond the plastic to the metal?
