I have a Win 94. I had a marlin 366 in .35 REM but somebody stole it from me. That Marlin was heavier than the 94. I had a Marlin 1894 in .44 MAG but sold it.
My 94 is a '76 model which I have owned even before both of those Marlins. Some guns you just don't get rid of.

Purchased a new 336 last fall and haven't had a single problem out of it or noticed any flaws in finish or stock. However, never owned/handled a pre-Remington model...I'm happy as long as it keeps putting lead on target.

I love the way that 94 looks. I would take that over a new any day of the week. I get everyone that I can that looks like that..... Whatcha want for it???
