A while back I acquired a very rough Daisy 105b with a damaged muzzle I thought I could use for parts, but there wasn’t much there. It sat in the shop for a good while until I decided to chop off the damaged part at the rear of the loading window and make a mare’s leg out of it. On most of these conversions you have to remove the front sight to load bb’s.
Wanting something different, I grafted the mag. tube from an even worse condition Ryder, made a bunch of parts and installed a spring plunger to cover the loading port between barrel and tube. Has anyone else done this mod. or something similar ?

oops… got a double image there somehow.
This was an experiment to see if I could make it work. Will do some things differently on the next one. I also have a 1938b with a damaged muzzle, cut at the rear of the loading port it would be about 1/2” longer than a 105b, and that’s workable.
