List of 2A activist groups

Please, update this post

We have two 2A activist groups that are listed in Indiana and the lead page still shows there is none. Indiana was ranked at 31 in a tie with Montana on the Brady gun-haters web site. The goal is 50.

Join the NRA.
Write your elected officials.
In Indiana, get your lifetime handgun permit.

I looked at that website, it's completely false. When a website meant to keep track of lobbyists made an error about the NRA's view on an issue, saying they supported a gun ban, even though the NRA spoke out against it, spoke against it in hearings, and attacked the bill on it's website.

When you have to resort to a unrelated website's error to attack the NRA, that's pretty lame.

A website attacking the biggest pro second amendment lobby ever is not a second amendment activist group.

In fact, they attack the NRA for not opposing the bill that would allow police to CCW. Now the NRA is anti second amendment because they didn't oppose pro second amendment legislation? That' ridiculous.

It also says
the NRA will never attack a marginal politician (the kind of politician who is actually vulnerable to gun owners' pressure).
This is a lie, of course. The NRA even managed to defeat an anti-gun speaker of the house, the first to lose since the 1800s.

TONIGHT: 20/20 takes a biased look at mass shootings and armed civilians!

This announcement is from the Buckeye Firearms Association here in Ohio. However it would be a good idea if we all took a Nationwide stance.

If any type of poll is offered - be it online, telephone, text, whatever. VOTE!!

TONIGHT: 20/20 takes a biased look at mass shootings and armed civilians!

Do you think it's a good idea to be armed during a mass shooting? Diane Sawyer and the producers at 20/20 aren't so sure. Tonight at 10pm EST, ABC will air a special edition of 20/20 called "If I only had a gun" which looks at mass shootings and the idea of civilians being armed.

Click here to read about this upcoming news show and see a video clip.

The show will create a simulation of a mass shooting and supposedly show the response of an armed civilian. From what we've seen, this show will probably make your blood boil.

Watch tonight. If they run a poll, please respond. It is important to counter any anti-gun bias in the mainstream media.

HELP US FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS

Most professionnal equipment has some kind of serial port: this is essential for centralized show control.

In case you haven't noticed my signature :) Nebraska has an excellent, very active group - the Nebraska Firearms Owners Association (NFOA). Membership is free, although donations of time and money are gladly accepted. We're still young (2000 members) but growing fast. We're hitting the local gun shows hard and we've doubled our membership in the last few weeks. Some of our accomplishments in the past year (working with other excellent organizations such as the Izaak Walton League and NRA) include CCW reciprocity and the Nebraska Shooting Range Protection act.

I believe we are wasting our time attempting to block any of Obama's nominations, what we need to do is start a movement to have Obama removed from office and pretty quick before he completes his destruction of America.

FOAC should be listed for PA.

We are THE grassroots political activism group in PA fighting tooth and nail day in and day out. We are all volunteers.

Kim Stoffler is the President, and if you know anything about gun rights in PA that name should ring a bell.

there is also the PA Firearm Owners Assoc. Mostly PAFOA provides an online forum (over 22k members) where gun owners in PA can plan events, organize, and desseminate information.

You Can Add Alabama Open Carry

Just started in April of this year is Alabama Open Carry. So far we have had positive results in Huntsville, Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile and Tuscaloosa. There have actually been some problems with LEOs and all have been successfully resolved in our favor. We have also been interviewed on TV and radio giving out info that Open Carry is legal, unlicensed and unrestricted by law. We have successful meetings throughout the state on a weekly basis at a variety of restaurants.
