The below items are urgent items from the Virginia Citizen's Defense League (VCDL). These are agenda items for consideration in next week's legislative session. If you are a citizen of the Commonwealth, then please follow up with your representative about these bills/

URGENT ACTION ITEMS

VCDL needs each of you to send a series of emails to your Delegates and Senators on some important gun bills coming up on Monday.

We have made it so that each email should only take a few seconds to do - our system will determine who your Delegate and Senator are based on your address that you will provide in the form.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

We thank Delegate Pogge for dropping HB 1741, which, as drafted, was severely flawed.

As we expected from the beginning, Delegate Johnson's restaurant ban repeal (HB 1821) and K-12 school carry bill (HB 1822) and Delegate Carrico's teeth for preemption bill (HB 1655) have been re-referred to the House Militia, Police, and Public Safety committee from the House Courts of Justice committee.
